One of my biggest surprise when I got to Queensland: the Great Barrier Reef is spread along the North to the South of the State on more than 2000 km! This is not just about Cairns and surroundings! This is good news for those who love scuba diving and snorkelling.

 

In the Southern Great Barrier Reef, there are stunning micro islands where you will have your feet in the reef! If getting wet is not what you prefer, don’t worry, there are also plenty places to be discovered in the outback around Rockhampton.

 

Country landscapes are great, sunsets are unforgettable, people are authentic and friendly. Meat lovers? Here you will be pleased, Rockhampton is Australia’s Beef Capital!
